SKIF Abu Dhabi consists of multiple training centres comprising of a large team of competent black belt instructors trained by Dr Amadeus Kubicek (Renshi) Chief Instructor SKIF-Abu Dhabi. Dr Amadeus is a Japanese graded 5th degree black belt (Shotokan Karate-do International Federation- SKIF) with the Shogo title of Renshi awarded by the Da

i-Nippon Butoku-Kai in Japan. He is a former three (3) x member of the Australian National Karate Team (SKIA) for three (3) successive World Championships with multiple state and national championship accolades. Dr Amadeus also has considerable international experience having trained under highly regarded world class instructors from Japan, South Africa, Australia, United Kingdom, and the United States over the span of many decades. Dr Amadeus has actively taught traditional Shotokan karate-do to the community of Abu Dhabi since 2014 (physical and online) and the community of Kalkan-Turkiye from 2022 on a not-for-profit basis, and has over fifty (50) years of karate experience. The training is based on the tenets of the late SKIF founder - Soke H. Kanazawa, and oriented to discipline and conquering personal challenges, while promoting harmony and goodwill through the connection mind, body, and spirit.
