🌧️ LAKE PLACID. RAIN. MUD. ONE LAST XCC BATTLE.

Friday morning in Lake Placid didn’t exactly look like a World Cup postcard.
The Adirondack autumn was grey, cold and wet. Rain had soaked Mt. Van Hoevenberg turning the short-track circuit into a slippery, muddy fight for every metre. The forecast promised rain, the track delivered it — and the riders had nowhere to hide.
Eight laps for the women. Nine for the men. Less than 22 minutes of racing, but every second mattered.

The final XCC of the 2026 World Cup season was always going to be intense. And in these conditions, it became less about perfection and more about keeping the bike moving, choosing the right line and staying composed when everything around you was trying to slow you down.

For Mondraker Factory Racing XC fought his way to 13th, with .mitterwallner 26th, 29th and 34th.

📍 Lake Placid, here we are! 🇺🇸
The final stop of the season is here and today we’re getting familiar with the track at Mt Van Hoevenberg. One last course check, one last training session and then it’s time to put everything on the line. 💪🔥

The season finale starts today with XCC — fast, intense and always unpredictable. Our riders are ready to fight for every position.

Fingers crossed 🤞 and full gas! 🚀

Let’s make this final World Cup one to remember. 🇺🇸❤️

Yesterday, the team had the pleasure of visiting ! 🚴‍♂️

We had an amazing time meeting the our dealer , sharing our passion for cycling/racing and connecting with everyone who came along.

It was a great experience for our riders and for all the fans and cycling enthusiasts who joined us. Thanks to everyone at Contender Bikes for the warm welcome and for making it such a special day! 💙

PODIUM, ALEX! 🔥
Today is a special one. ❤️‍🔥

After race after race of strong Top 10 finishes, hard work, progress and plenty of fighting, our U23 racer has stepped onto his first-ever podium! 🥉💪

At XCO Hollow Soldier, everything finally came together. Alex powered his way to an incredible 3rd place — and with it, the first podium of his career. 🥹🔥

We’ve watched him put in the work, learn, improve and keep pushing through every race. Today, he got to see that dedication rewarded in the best possible way: standing on the podium for the very first time.

We couldn’t be happier or prouder. ❤️

Soldier Hollow XCC ⚡️
One of the fastest and most intense circuits of the entire World Cup calendar — and our team was right in the fight.

A strong 8th place in a finish sprint for in the U23 race, while .mitterwallner (25th) and (26th) put in solid efforts in the Elite field.

was also fighting hard, but lost his front wheel on the slippery track at the end and went down, eventually finishing 36th.

Now we reset and get ready for XCO. 💪
