Daisy's day at Dakamela Secondary School was more than just attending classes for one day—it was a beautiful experience that touched our hearts as a family. For a child visiting Zimbabwe for the first time, being welcomed into the school, taking part in the parade, learning Agriculture, making new friends, and experiencing the love and respect within the school was something truly special.
As parents, there is no greater joy than seeing your child feel welcomed, included, and happy. Daisy may have spent only one day at Dakamela Secondary School, but the kindness she experienced and the memories she created will stay with her for a lifetime. That one day gave her something that cannot be found in books alone—a deeper connection to Zimbabwe, its people, its culture, and her own roots.
We will always remember how Daisy was welcomed and treated as one of the students, rather than simply as a visitor. That is what made the experience so meaningful.
