New boys Inter D clearly showed their intent when they dismissed Zesa 2-0. Inter D outclassed Zesa in all departments with some coordinated passing moves that left Zesa at ones and two's.
This wasn't the welcome they expected, Forit were hammered 7 goals to nil by the defending champions Telone (WiFi boys)
This game was about to brew a shocker as the stubborn StooB stars took an early lead against a disorganized Barbarz outfit. Stoob got complacent and allowed Barbaz to regroup and reorganize, a second half onslaught saw Barbaz bag all 3 points dismissing a 9 man Stoob who had 2 players shown red cards for unsporting behavior. The match ended 3-1 in favor of Barbaz.
Young Boys started off pretty comfortably dismantling a weak ZRP side 1-0, some entertaining football from the young boys thanks to a goal by Irvine.
Mambo 0-3 Cyclone (walkover)
Shock of the week came in this entertaining thriller. Inner inner came out all guns blazing to beat the evergreen Ras to Ras by a goal to nil. A trademark Jimmy Zuda solo run was enough to seal the win for Inner Inner. Ras to Ras misery could have been doubled as Zuda made another run, rounding up the Ras to Ras keeper before the keeper heckled him down. The keeper was sent off, the match ended with both teams having 10 men as Inner Inner defender was sent off late in the first half.
Obimac succumbed to a 0-3 defeat at the hands of Ranks stars.
Supersport got outclassed by a spirited Crossroads side. Archie scored a hatrick and Cde Mahwiro finished of the match with a simple tap in. Crossroads 4-1Supersport.
Borehole started their season with a 0-2 defeat at the hands of a rejuvenated Sable side.
Hinton stars got a baptism of fire at the hands of the flamboyant Logistics who by their own standards were not at their best.
