The BRPS unit (sorbent regeneration and preparation block) restores the absorption properties of zeolite by removing oil residues with superheated steam and eliminating accumulated moisture through hot air drying. As a result, the zeolite can be reused for drying lubricating and electrical insulation oils.
📌 Advantages of BRPS:
✅ Safe and efficient removal of moisture and oil from zeolite
✅ Optimal heating without damaging the sorbent
✅ Vacuuming for maximum purification
✅ Direct connection to the tank without mechanical mixing or transfer, preventing sorbent degradation
This technology is relevant for energy and industrial enterprises using zeolite-based adsorbers, particularly the GlobeCore ZP-260 sorbent cartridge block.

Oxidation stability is one of the key characteristics of transformer oil, as it affects the oil's ability to maintain its properties during prolonged use. To protect against premature aging, antioxidants are added to the oil, specifically 2,6-Di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol (BHT), known under the names agidol, ionol, kerobit, totanol, etc.
The antioxidant works by interacting with peroxide radicals – active particles that appear during the degradation of the oil. This causes oxidation to occur very slowly in the initial stage, as the antioxidant neutralizes harmful reactions. However, once its supply is depleted, the oil aging rate increases sharply.
Therefore, to maintain the quality of transformer oil, it is important not only to monitor the level of antioxidants but also to replenish them in time. The GlobeCore USB-6 unit automates this process: it extracts the oil, adds the necessary amount of antioxidant, and returns it to the system.

Data about the condition of transformers is of great importance for electric grid operators. Information obtained from the operational determination of hydrogen content and moisture level measurement allows for efficient resource utilization and prevention of costly downtimes due to failures. Previously, such analysis was mainly conducted in laboratories, but the TОР-2 by GlobeCore enables monitoring of these indicators directly next to the transformer during regular inspections. The device performs separate analysis and can be used for transformers as well as other electrical equipment with oil insulation. The sensors and sensors used are adapted for field conditions, ensuring accuracy comparable to laboratory methods.
Main advantages of TОР-2:
🔹 Detection of hydrogen and dissolved moisture even in small amounts.
🔹 Rapid analysis without involving a laboratory.
🔹 Early detection of potential malfunctions.
🔹 Development of preventive maintenance strategies based on the actual condition of the oil.
🔹 No need for consumables, complex calibration, or maintenance.

In order to ensure that the high-voltage bushings of transformers work well and perform failure-free, they must be serviced and refilled with oil in a timely manner. UVD plant facilitates the maintenance process and enhances the bushings reliability.
This is a great example of minimalist design with all the necessary features maintained. The plant consists of three components:
vacuum pump;
oil preparation unit;
refilling unit.
Oil degassing, oil storage, and oil refilling in high-voltage bushings are carried out by means of the above components.
Important features:
the oil volume in the preparation unit is 30 L, and that in the degassing unit is 4 L;
compactness: length — 0.9 m, width — 0.78 m, height —1.5 m;
wheel-mounted — it means that the plant can be easily and quickly moved from one transformer to another.

Transformer oil undergoes a gradual deterioration process due to thermal and oxidative aging during operation. Without intervention, this process leads to a decline in oil quality, reducing its protective and insulating properties. The presence of oxidation inhibitors, such as ionol, helps slow down this degradation by extending the oil’s induction period. During this phase, the formation of oxidation byproducts remains minimal, preserving the oil’s performance.
However, the inhibitor is consumed over time, with its depletion rate influenced by factors such as temperature and oxygen concentration in the oil. Higher temperatures and increased oxygen levels accelerate the consumption of ionol, making periodic replenishment essential to maintain the oil’s stability and prolong its service life.
Globecore’s USB-6 Inhibitor Injection Unit is specifically designed to streamline this task. It automates the extraction of transformer oil, mixes it with the required dose of inhibitor, and reinjects the treated oil into the system.
Safety is integral to the design. The system halts immediately upon detecting potential hazards, displaying the issue on the controller for quick resolution.

On October 23, 2024, students and faculty from the Poltava Applied College of Transport Construction visited GlobeCore’s production facilities. The young engineers came to learn more about how we develop modern solutions for road construction. Our specialists shared their expertise in the creation of bitumen emulsions and modified bitumen and demonstrated GlobeCore solutions that improve roadwork efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
This tour was a great opportunity for students to deepen their knowledge and see how theory is applied in practice. The college faculty highlighted the importance of such events for the professional training of students and their adaptation to labor market demands. GlobeCore values the opportunity to collaborate with the Poltava Applied College of Transport Construction and remains committed to supporting young talents in their professional growth.
