Green Buffaloes Strengthen Support to the Military Community Through Sports
Green Buffaloes Football Club has continued to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the military community through sport, as the club’s leadership paid a courtesy call to 10 Medium Regiment and 17 Cavalry Regiment.
The delegation was led by Green Buffaloes Team Secretary, Lieutenant Colonel Michael Gondwe, accompanied by WOI S. Janza. They were received by Lieutenant Colonel N S Sililo and Lieutenant Colonel M Sipatunyana.
The visit formed part of Green Buffaloes’ continued efforts to strengthen relations and foster unity within the military community through the power of sport.
Speaking during the visit, the Green Buffaloes delegation emphasized that football is not only about competition but also serves as an important platform for building relationships, promoting teamwork, discipline and strengthening the bond among members of the military community.
Green Buffaloes remains committed to giving support to the military through sports and believes that sport can play a significant role in promoting unity, fitness, morale and camaraderie.
The club looks forward to strengthening its relationship with various military units and continuing to use football as a tool to bring people together.
