The MFS Kitwe Marathon today held a special award presentation ceremony to honour the overall champions of the 2026 Kitwe Marathon.
The ceremony recognised the athletes who finished first in their respective categories, with each champion receiving a bicycle, generously donated by Kasaria Ecocity, in recognition of their outstanding achievement.
The honoured champions were:

🥇 Male – Vista Simalumba
🥇 Female – Jane Kasalamuna
🏆 21 km
🥇 Male – Weaver Simalumba
🥇 Female – Abigail Mwila
🏆 10 km
🥇 Male – Aaron Hiyamwa
🥇 Female – Rozaria Mushota
🏆 5 km
🥇 Male – Titus Musumbuka
🏆 Persons with Disabilities
🥇 Male – Albert Mukuba Mulenga
🥇 Female – Chizibent Mumba
The ceremony celebrated the remarkable determination, resilience, and excellence displayed by the champions during this year’s marathon. The Organising Committee congratulated all the winners and expressed sincere appreciation to Kasaria Ecocity for their generous support in making the recognition possible.
