Yo Maps Is My Idol, I Love Everything He Does — Driemo

It’s almost impossible to talk to him and not bring up Zambia. When asked about Yo Maps, Driemo didn’t hesitate.

He openly named Yo Maps as his favorite Zambian artist and someone he respects in the music industry.

According to him, Yo Maps is not just talented, he has everything an artist needs. The consistency, the music, the influence, the work ethic and the way he connects with fans all stand out.

But what really caught attention was how he said it. Driemo didn’t just admire him as an artist, he called Yo Maps his idol, adding that he loves everything he does musically.

A simple statement, but coming from one of Malawi’s biggest artists right now, it carries weight and in that moment, you could tell that this wasn’t just industry talk, it was real respect.
