CHOMA ROAD WORKS TO START IN A WEEK.

Choma is set to embark on a historic journey towards improved infrastructure as the rehabilitation of 10 kilometers of urban township roads is slated to begin within the next seven days.

Journalist Diaries

This week I was working from Mapatizya at the deep end of the constituency in Zimba District trust me when I say some areas are underdeveloped.

While on duty we got to some place where airtime is bought at an extra cost than the actual price you buy K5 airtime for k5.5 this is because only one person in the area has a shop that sells airtime this is some good business move 😂😂

Well! when it comes to education not every parent thinks it's a good idea as kids as young as 17 are running homes as husbands and wives with kids when you in town at 30 you are scared of marriage 😂 while those whose parents believe in education children have to cover over 5 hours of walking just to get to a near by school and they start walking at 03 just to be at school on time while I guess that's why some give up on school.

This work experience made me realise that most people that are in town are not suffering people in rural areas are having life really hard.

Thanks to a soft loan from the Blessings Savings Group trained by the Care Zambia, Mercy has launched a successful goat-selling business, enabling her to pay for her education at Monze College of Education.
