The Veterans Cricket Association of South Africa (VCASA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Naledi Dlamini as Executive Director, effective 1 September 2026. π
Dlamini takes up the role on a voluntary basis, following a competitive process that drew applications from across the country. πΏπ¦
πΌ Experienced national-federation governance professional
Dlamini brings extensive governance and stakeholder-engagement experience gained at national federation level, including her work as an Administration Officer with the South African Hockey Association and her involvement with the SASCOC National Safeguarding Commission.
π She holds an MPhil in Sport Management and has a strong track record of committee administration, policy work and stakeholder engagement across national, provincial and district sporting structures.

πΉ VCASA Executive Director Responsibilities
Naledi Dlamini will report to the VCASA Board of Directors and will be responsible for:
π Translating Board strategy into operational action
π€ Building relationships with Cricket South Africa, sponsors and international partners
π Ensuring the organisationβs continued governance and regulatory compliance as an NPC
π The appointment comes as VCASA continues to grow its base of nearly 2,000 members across 10 provincial affiliates and as the organisation prepares its teams for upcoming International Masters Cricket (IMC) World Cup campaigns. ππ
π Leadership Transition
Roger Moult, who has chaired VCASA since its formation, steps down as Chairman and Board member on 1 October 2026 and will continue to represent VCASA on the IMC in a handover capacity until a successor is confirmed for that role.
