As we start the new year, I’ve taken the time to reflect on the values that are most important to me. As a mom and a coach, I truly wish to inspire young kids to be driven by discipline, have the ability to be good human beings and truly succeed in life.

Gymnastics is so much more than a sport – it is your child’s foundation for their athletic ability and the skills to overcome challenges as an adult.

Through specific types of training, gymnasts learn healthy competition, where striving to be their best never takes away from supporting others. They build healthy relationships, grounded in teamwork, respect, and encouragement. They develop a healthy lifestyle, learning to care for their bodies, manage emotions, and stay active.

Bringing gymnastics to our community has meant opening doors to confidence, friendship and joy. A safe space to grow, to nurture strength and determination. This is what the sport teaches — and why we love it.

Still on a Hyrox buzz. If you know,you know.
We came, we did it, we finished.
Was it hard? Yes for sure
Did we give up? Hell No
Will we be back for more? Damn right we will

Lessons learned- cramping and dehydration is a thing. It can break you if you’re unprepared.
Mentally, I went in strong and that’s what pulled me though to the end.
So grateful to be able to push our bodies to these limits. Alhamdulilah for everything.

In gymnastics, we are teaching kids that skills take time. You fall and you fail, over and over again. But eventually you will win and you will master your skills. It’s all about resilience and determination.
And for that reason alone (despite questioning my life choices during Hyrox) I will be back again.
