💙💛 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO OUR SUPPORTERS 💛💙
Dear Wagenmakersvallei RFC Family,
As we look back on the 2026 league season, we first and foremost want to give all the glory and honour to God. 🙏
Without God, Wagenmakersvallei RFC would not exist. He has carried this club, our players, our committee, our families and our supporters through every challenge. There were many moments this season when things were difficult, but God continued to make a way and gave us the strength to keep going.
Last week, we played our final league match of the 2026 season. Although we did not end the league with the win we had hoped for, we are still incredibly grateful for the journey and for every person who stood beside us.
I truly believe that 2026 has been one of the most difficult seasons Wagenmakersvallei RFC has endured. It tested us in many ways, both on and off the field. The results were not always what we wanted, and there were certainly moments when the road ahead felt challenging.
But through it all, our supporters remained faithful. 💙💛🤍
To every person who came to our matches, travelled with us, supported our fundraisers, encouraged our players, helped behind the scenes, donated, sponsored us, shared our posts, prayed for us, or simply stood on the sideline cheering for our boys — THANK YOU.
You have shown us what true support looks like.
A true supporter does not only stand with a team when they are winning. A true supporter stays when the results are difficult, when the journey is hard, and when the victories are few.
And you stayed.
For that, we are immensely grateful. ❤️
To our players, coaches, management, volunteers, sponsors, families and every single supporter of Wagenmakersvallei RFC — thank you for believing in this club and for continuing to stand with us.
The 2026 league season may not have ended the way we had hoped, but this is not the end of our story. We will learn, we will grow, we will rebuild, and we will continue moving forward.
And above all, we will continue to put our trust in God, because He is the foundation of Wagenmakersvallei RFC.
The scoreboards may not always reflect the fight, the heart and the journey behind a team — but God sees it all. 🙏
