No rest for the boys! As one league comes to an end, we roll straight into the next challenge.

We're excited to announce that both our 1st Team and 2nd Team will be competing in the Leopard's President League 2026 — a 7-round competition featuring some of the strongest clubs in the region.

This season will see Rovers take on:

🏉 Welkom Rugby Club
🏉 Klerksdorp Rugby Club
🏉 Driefontein/Kloof Rugby Club
🏉 Impala Rugby Club
🏉 Matlosana Rugby Club
🏉 Sibanye Rugby Club

With a mix of home and away fixtures, there will be plenty of opportunities to support the boys throughout the campaign.

We're looking forward to seven rounds of competitive rugby, great club spirit, and making memories both on and off the field.

The wait is over — the Leopard’s President League kicks off, and Rovers Rugby Club is ready for Round 1 action! Rovers vs Welkom Club — a proper opening clash to set the tone for the season.

Both our 1st and 2nd teams have been entered into this 7-round competition, and we start strong this Tuesday, 16 June 2026. And yes… it’s a public holiday, so there’s officially no excuse not to be there 😏

• 2nd Team Kick-off: 13:30
• 1st Team Kick-off: 15:00

Bring the energy, bring the noise, and back the boys from the sidelines as we launch into the campaign.
