We are looking for new prospective bowlers. Anybody new wanting to play and learn the game of bowls, please come and join us on a Friday night for fun twilight bowls. We start at 5:30 sharp. Bring and braai afterwards.

A big thank you goes out to Mr Eddie Meyer from Walter Meyer Agencies for his generous donation towards the Sherry Day tournament. Without people like him these tournaments would not be possible. And lastly a big thank you to all the participants because without you there would also be no tournament.

A very successful Mascor Tournament was held today.

A fun evening of twilight bowls was had yesterday with eventual winners being Brian Gleave and Lappies Labushagne. Afterwards a funfilled evening with a bring and braai was had.

2 Wartburg teams were entered into the Howick Tournament with one team comprising of Cliffy Pooler, Michael von Fintel and Lappies Labushagne coming second overall. Although the weather did not play along it was still a very enjoyable day. Our Mascor Open Trips will be held on the 22nd of April. Will all interested parties please enter their teams.

On Saturday the 24th March we had our monthly spoon sponsored by Treated Timber Products. It was a tightly contested afternoon of bowls with eventual winners being Michael von Fintel and Johan Labuschagne. We wish all our followers and club members a blessed Easter, and hope to see more people attending twilight bowls on a Friday night and social bowls on a Saturday afternoon.

A good turnout was had yesterday for twilight bowls. With eventual winners being Michael von Fintel, Erlo Rencken and John Walker. Tomorrow we are having our Social League which is held once every 2 months. Good prizes are to be won. Come and support this wonderful event sponsored by Supa Quick Dalton.
