VDA does us proud again. Our men's side has won the majority price money at the Ganzekraal resort open. They have won R35000.00 for the team event. Warrick Scheffer and Allen Stanley has won R5000.00 for the doubles and Warrick Scheffer has R2000.00 for the most 180's. He had 12 for the tournament. This tournament will be an annual event and a great opportunity to test your team just before the south Africa darts National championship. the format is also 6 a side 36 point system

What a week VDA had at the DSA Darts National Championship. Firstly Warrick Scheffer won the Singles Event and then Warrick Scheffer and Herman vd Westhuizen made the semi finals in the doubles. Our ladies side got silver on block 3 and will promoted to block 2. Our men's side has never lost a match since starting as a new Association in block 5 in 2019 and again won gold in block 2 and will now compete in block 1. And it is a great honor that i have been selected as manager for the veterans team competing in Malawi in 2024.

And the Outlaws does it again. Our men side are the Saldanha Classics Champions.
Warrick Scheffer also had the most 180 (got credit for 11 but we failed to record one in his last match should gave been 12).

What a successfull National Championship. Firstly congratulations to Warrick Scheffer from VDA to end no 1 on national level for mens. To Vossie Oostuizen from VDA to end no 1 on national level for the ladies. Both our players was awarded their Protea colours to represent South Africa in the world cup in Denmark.
Then there was 4 players from VDA that has been selected for the District team and we finished first in our block but succumbed in the playoffs but will still move up to block 1.
Then lastly congratulations to VDA to win their block without losing a match and we will also move up to block 3 next year. Our youth girl from Yzerfontein Mekayla de Lange walked away with all the accolades but due to turning 19 before world cup she could not be selected
