Blakes R.F.C would like to congratulate the following clubs from the Stellenbosch region on their achievements for the 2022 season and would like to wish them well for the 2023 season with regards to preparations and planning for another season of club rugby in the Western Province Union.

Kylemore RFC – promotion to Super League B
Van Der Stel-Evegreens Rugby Club – Northern league winners, Promotion League runners-up and Promotion to Super League C
Stellenbosch Corries Coronations – Winners of the Regional 2nd Round Cup

Blakes RFC’s philosophy is always to build rugby friendships of the field with its fellow clubs where we could learn and assist each other but also to be very competitive on the playing field.
There is an old saying: “rugby is a hooligan's game played by gentlemen.”
