The drought is over🦈💙

After months without a game and last Saturday’s match cancelled, the Sharks are finally back.

This Saturday, 13 June 2026, we head to Hankey to take on Red Lions RC on their home turf. Kickoff 14:15.

Months of frustration. No release. That bottle’s been shaking and this weekend we pop the lid. The boys are hungry, the rust is gone, and we’re ready for 80 minutes of proper rugby.

ST FRANCIS SHARKS RUGBY CLUB

MATCH CANCELLATION NOTICE – 06 JUNE 2026

Dear Supporters, Members, and Stakeholders,

Please be advised that the Eastern Province Rugby Union has cancelled all club rugby fixtures scheduled for Saturday, 06 June 2026 due to natural causes, namely adverse weather conditions.

This decision was made under Clause 10 of the EPRU 2026 Club Competition Rules and Regulations, following consultation with relevant stakeholders including municipalities, weather experts, and road authorities.

In accordance with the ruling, St Francis Sharks and our scheduled opponents will each be allocated two (2) league points for the shared fixture.

Upcoming Fixtures:
Our next scheduled matches will proceed on Saturday, 13 June 2026 and Tuesday, 16 June 2026 for our rescheduled league fixture.

Further Notice:
EPRU has indicated that all club games scheduled for Saturday, 20 June 2026 are likely to be postponed due to the Springboks vs Barbarians Test match at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. Revised dates will be communicated once confirmed.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support. Player and supporter safety remains our priority.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the field on 13 June 2026.

After 1 month away from the rugby field, the wait is finally over. The St Francis Bay Sharks RFC are back in action and ready to make a statement!

This Saturday, we go head-to-head with the Humansdorp Red Lions in what promises to be a thrilling Adams Cup encounter at Sea Vista Sport Ground.

📢 *UPDATE FOR ALL SHARKS SUPPORTERS*‼️

St Francis Bay Sharks RFC Management

We’ve received official notice from the *Eastern Province Rugby Union* that *all club matches scheduled for Saturday, 16 May 2026 have been postponed*. This includes men’s and women’s fixtures across the union.

The postponement is due to circumstances outside the control of any participating teams. EPRU will reschedule the matches and update all clubs as soon as new dates are confirmed.

We know it’s disappointing with game day around the corner, but we’ll keep you posted the moment we have new kick-off dates and times.

Thanks for your understanding and for sticking with the Sharks. We’ll be back on the field soon.

The Eastern Province Rugby Union (EPRU) has confirmed that Saturday’s game on 9 May 2026 has been cancelled due to heavy rain and player safety concerns. The field conditions currently do not meet the required safety standards for play.

DOMINIQUE RUITERS stepped up and delivered a game-changing performance for the St Francis Bay Sharks 1st Team in our 10-5 win over Humansdorp All Blacks.

Playing at flank, Dominique was everywhere on the field. His standout moment came with a crucial intercept that shifted momentum completely in our favor — reading the play perfectly, snatching the ball, and turning defense into attack in one split second. That turnover didn’t just stop the All Blacks in their tracks, it gave the Sharks the field position and belief we needed to close out the game.
