Mapetla Youth United Football Club Mapetla Youth United FC is a community football club that has been in existence for over 61 years. It is a Mainstay for the community.

MYU FC is continuing to have a positive impact on the community through training young men football and life skills. Mapetla Youth United FC is a home for young boys who are looking to better themselves through football and life skills. We are a football club that is run based on respect, intergrity, and, but not limited to, great work ethic. We strive to impact the lives of young men to become be

Today's quaterfinal loss of our U/21 concludes our tournament participation. We did not have a good run this time around. U/17, U/15, and U/21.

With U/21 as defending champions we were hoping to defend our title but it was never to be this time around. Better luck next time.

Now the goal is to find professional teams for our U/21's who are ready for their next challenge in the ABC Motsepe and NFD league. Back to the drawing board and basics under age divisions. Pre season starts soon for our Hollywoodbet Men's Regional League. The work never stops.

Our loss in the 2nd round of qualifiers is a bitter pill to swallow. We have prepared so much for this tournament and to bow out in that manner is painful. However we did achieve what we initially set out to achieve from the onset. Our goal was to see our Boys scouted and chosen and that is what happened. With a squad of 13 players, to have 4 players scouted by Wits University Football was immense for us as club.

The question we left asking ourselves as Coaches was, if we had qualified for the group stages, how many more of our Boys would have been chosen as there would have been more scouts from more insititutions.

Be that as it may. A friendly has been set up again with the University where many more of our Boys may see themselves go and change their lives. We stand here proud and excited for the future. With one mission in mind, to change live of young boys. United we stand.
