🏑Have you ever wondered what Hockey Week looks like at Laerskool Gill / Gill Primary?🏑

It’s full of energy, fun, learning and, of course, lots of hockey!😄

But Playball is about so much more than sport, it’s also where friendships are formed.🤝✨ Some of these photos capture some of the special bonds our Playballers have built with one another. It’s so lovely to see the friendships, encouragement and connection that grow through Playball!💙

We’ve been having the BEST time learning hockey last week at Mini Marvels!✨ From practising our dribbling skills and playing fun games, to lots of laughter, smiles and happy little faces. Every lesson is filled with fun!😄

And the best part? We’re not only building hockey skills, but also confidence, coordination and a love for being active!🌟 This is what Playball is all about.🙌

It’s always such a joy visiting our little Playballers at Mini Marvels, they bring so much energy and happiness to every Playball lesson!🥰

⭐️🏆𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐬!🏆⭐️

There’s one part of our Playball lessons that the kids especially LOVE… STAMPS!🎉

At the end of every lesson, once we’ve worked hard, listened, participated, and done our best, each child gets their very own Playball stamp!🥰

They can choose to have it on their hand or even on their head, and trust us, it’s a BIG deal!🙌

For our little Playballers, that stamp is like a special reward for a job well done. They proudly show one another their stamps, compare them, and get so excited to receive theirs.⭐️

It might be just a little stamp to us, but to them, it represents “I did it! I worked hard! I did a great job!” 💪

And honestly… seeing those proud little faces at the end of each lesson makes it one of our favourite parts too!😊⚽️

💙❤️💛A VISIT TO REMEMBER!💙❤️💛

Throwing it back to 13 May, when we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Trevor, the owner of Playball Mandela Bay & Kouga, Playball Kids East London AND now Playball Somerset East, to our beautiful little town!🌿☀️

It was so special having Trevor here to experience Playball Somerset East first-hand — visiting our schools, meeting our incredible principals and teachers, watching our Playballers in action, and seeing the passion and love that goes into every single lesson.⚽🏃‍♀️🎾🏑🏉

Having the opportunity to coach for Trevor and then have him take a lesson with me was such a valuable experience. I’m always eager to learn, grow and find new ways to make our Playball lessons even more fun and beneficial for our little ones, so getting to share ideas and learn from someone with so much experience was truly special.🤩

I am incredibly grateful for Trevor’s kind words and for the confidence he has in me to grow and build Playball Somerset East from the ground up. It means so much to know that the hard work, organisation and passion behind the scenes is noticed — but even more so that the love our Playballers and teachers have for our programme shines through!🌟

Our little Laerskool Gill / Gill Primary Playballers were looking extra adorable at yesterday’s lessons!🐔💛

With Inter-Schools taking place this weekend, the excitement is definitely in the air! The school has been celebrating Spirit Week, and our little stars came dressed as the cutest little chickens in support of their beloved Gill Roosters. We just had to capture a few smiles!📸🤩

To all our Gillians taking on the Quaggas in Cradock this weekend – we’re cheering you on every step of the way! Your enthusiasm, school spirit, determination, and teamwork have been incredible to see, and we know you’re going to make your school proud.

Play with heart, give it your all, and most importantly… enjoy every moment! 💪♥️💛

It's safe to say the Playball shirts have been an absolute hit!❤️🤩

We absolutely love seeing our Playballers proudly wearing their shirts to the lessons. They look so smart, and you can just see how much they enjoy wearing them!👕

It’s been so special watching the excitement on their faces when they put their shirts on, it really makes them feel like part of the Playball team.💪🌟

We think they look amazing, and we’re so proud of every one of our little champions!❤️

✨Term 3 is officially underway, and we couldn’t be more excited!💙⚽

We hope everyone had a wonderful, well-deserved break. We’re feeling refreshed, motivated, and so ready for an amazing term ahead! We can’t wait to keep building confidence, developing skills, and most importantly, having lots of fun with our incredible Playballers.🌟

⚽️Snippets from Soccer week at Klein Begin!🤩

What a fun week it was! From excited faces when the shirts were handed out to those serious concentration faces while learning new skills, every moment was filled with enthusiasm and enjoyment. 👕⭐

We love seeing our little players learn through play, build confidence, develop their soccer skills, and most importantly, have fun while doing it! 😊⚽️

At Playball, every lesson is an opportunity to learn something new, practise what we’ve learned, and enjoy being active with friends.

⚽️🥅 ANOTHER SOCCER WEEK THROWBACK! 🥅⚽️

What a fantastic first week back after the school holidays it was!🎉 Our Playballers received their brand-new shirts and were ready to jump straight into the action.

The weather may not have been on our side, but that never stops the fun!😉🌧️💪 We improvised, adapted, and turned each and every one of the lessons into an exciting learning experience packed with movement, skills, and plenty of smiles.

A special thank you to Laerskool Gill / Gill Primary for accommodating us and help find an indoor space when the weather doesn’t cooperate. Your support means so much and allows us to keep the Playball magic going, rain or shine!⭐️
