Why swim in winter? 🐠

- Higher fitness levels are gained through swimming year round, making kids more resilient to stress and illness. This, along with good nutrition will help them stay fit and healthy during winter.

- Due to swimming lessons not continued through the winter months. This causes regression through lack of practice.

Some tips to do after your child’s swimming lesson:

1. Ensure your children wrap up warmly after their swimming lessons and don’t let them stand around wet.

2. Dry your child’s hair with the hair dryer we have on our premises.

3. Wear a beanie to and from the pool to help keep heat in.

4. Bring their gown or onesie with to put on after lessons.

While swimming pools do pose a big drowning risk for kids, there are many other drowning hazards (some are even inside your home).

Children can drown in bodies of water that most of us wouldn’t even consider a danger.

These include:
* The bath
* Pet’s water bowls
* Toilets
* Buckets of water
* Drains
* Water features
* Puddles of water that collect after rain

Swim skills add a layer of protection to prevent drowning incidents.
�This is the only sport that can actually save lives and can also reduce the risk of drowning.

Do you want your child to be water safe?

We have qualified instructors and teach all ages and all different levels!

Swimming is a life skill, everyone should know how!

We believe one-on-one swimming lessons are beneficial, here are some reasons why:

1. You get undivided attention from a professional swim instructor. In group classes, children often receive a portion of the instructors attention.

2. Your child will receive a customized, tailor-made swim lesson plan focused on your child’s needs and goals. This means your swimmer’s progress will drive the pace of the lesson. If your child needs extra time to develop a skill, the customized plan is flexible enough to slow down, or speed up, as needed, to help your child succeed.

3. The hardest things for kids about group lessons at are the distractions. Splashing, noise and other lessons in close proximity; all these factors can make it difficult for a child to focus on what is being taught in a group class
