This weekend, the top under 30s and Veterans were in action in the Northern Cape Bowls Under 30 and Veteran Masters.
Beaconsfield Park Bowling Green Club hosted the under 30s, while the veterans played at Sol Plaatje West End Bowls Club, with all the finals being played at Sol Plaatje.
In the under 30 Masters, it was the in form CP Mathewson who was crowned champion, after defeating Driaan van Niekerk in the finals.
Kieran Kelly, the defending champion managed to secure bronze, after he came out victorious over Diann Cilliers from Sishen.
The mens veteran final was between Danie Koekemoer and Gert Opperman, both from Hartswater. In the end, Danie walked away as the champion for 2024.
In third place was Stephan Enslin from Sishen and in fourth was Wimpie du Toit from Hartwater.
The veteran ladies final was closely contested between Michelle van Zyl and LAURA FOUCHE. Laura secured the victory by one shot in the end, to be crowned champion.
In third place was Elmarie Anderson and in fourth was Louisa Williams.
