A Memory Made in Africa 🌍

There are moments on safari that stay with you long after the rifle has been put away.

This was one of them.

An American client travelled to South Africa with Ripley Safaris in pursuit of one of Africa’s most magnificent antelope - the sable. After the hours of glassing, tracking, patience and anticipation, the moment finally came.

A beautiful, old sable bull.

And what followed was far more than simply taking a trophy. It was a moment, a memory and an experience that will forever be part of his African story.

There is something incredibly special about a mature sable bull. His jet-black coat, white markings and sweeping horns make him one of the most iconic animals of the African bushveld. A truly old bull carries not only magnificent horns, but the character that comes with years in the wild.

A huge congratulations to our young hunter from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 on his very first game animal - a beautiful Impala ram. There are few moments more rewarding than seeing someone experience the magic of the African bush for the first time, and even better when the whole family is there to celebrate together.

This father and son shared a special moment with their family by experiencing both of their first African hunts with us! 2 shots, 2 impala rams 🫶

These are the hunts we love. New friendships, unforgettable memories, and stories that will be shared around the dinner table for years to come.
