And so the Dr A.D Lazarus Secondary School rugby team got off to a bang this Saturday past with their first ever contact rugby game at the Siripat Road Sports Complex in front of their enthusiastic supporters.

Grateful to the Lindelani Bird Ball RugbyClub for sharing in this historic occassion and to the Hollywood Foundation Optimum Sport Siripat Lions Rugby Club and the founding players for making this dream possible.

Not holding back in their competitiveness, the Lindelani boys took the match to the Raptors boys winning both games. The Raptors Girls opened their wings and flew from the get go winning both of their games in a tightly fought contest. It was even this time around, and the next time promises to be an even bigger contest - at the end of the day however, rugby, building communities and growing future leaders were the winners on the day.

Throwback to a recent past: The ADL Raptors, along with the Reservoir Hills Secondary Rugby Team represented Ward 23 this past Sunday in the Ethekwini Sports Games.
It was a tough tournament, but we've come out strong 💪 and aim to rectify our mistakes.

🏉🔥 ADL Raptors making their mark! 🔥🏉

At the uBunye Cup this past Sunday, hosted by our partners the Siripat Lions Rugby Club, the Raptors brought heart, energy, and discipline to the field.

💪 The U17s battled their way to an incredible 3rd place finish, while the U16s showed true grit and gained valuable experience.

Proud of the boys for representing Dr A.D. Lazarus Secondary and our community with passion and pride! ❤️🖤🤍
