EHC 2026 — Day 4 (Friday) — This was Squad 271’s rest day.

That said, as many keen shooters tend to do when at big matches, we got up fairly early and headed back to the range to support one of our team shooters.

Also managed to catch up with some shooting friends from all over the world at the range and did some admin … 😝🤨

EHC 2026 — Day 3 —
Day 3 began with a really early wake up at 03:50 to get ready, do my usual dry fire warm-up and then leave for the range at 05:20.

Got to the range just after 06:00 and we were only the 3rd or 4th car to get there.

We shot the 07:20 - 09:50 early morning time slot and I enjoyed a further improvement on my previous 2 days’ performances.

EHC 2026 — Day 2
Had a much better day today, despite the incredibly stormy and wet conditions (and ongoing drizzle etc).

My stage times and accuracy showed a big improvement from Day 1. Roll on more of the same tomorrow….

We are shooting the early time slot tomorrow (07:20 - 09:50), which requires a really early wake up (of around 03:50) in order to get up and ready, run some dry fire warm up drills and then travel the 50mins to the range! 😌💤😴

EHC 2026 — Day 1 done and dusted yesterday in hot and humid conditions. ☀️☀️☀️

Today is shaping up to be a totally different day, with cool and cloudy conditions and heavy rain predicted. 🌧️🌦️

EHC 2026 — it’s been a slightly windy and wet/rainy day for much of today. That said, we still managed to get to the range to do some final checks of the stages which we will be shooting tomorrow in Day 1 of the Pre-Match.

Let’s hope that the weather is much better tomorrow and that the foul weather stays away… 😜

EHC 2026 — it’s been a really busy day today!

— Equipment check
— Catching up with RO friends at the range
— Re-checking the zero on both of my competition pistols after the flights and transit
— Walking the stages
— Checking ammo to be used for the match (Pre-Match starts on Tues)
