Twelve months ago, Benell started this journey with one simple goal: become stronger, feel better and start showing up for herself.
There were no specific plans to compete. No dreams of trophies. Just a commitment to take it one training session, one meal and one day at a time.
On 18 July 2026, she stepped onto the stage at the PCA South Africa Gauteng H&H Classic for her very first bodybuilding competition - and achieved something truly extraordinary:
