Last week Robbie had the opportunity to spend some time training two fellow suspension technicians - 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗿𝘂 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗸 and 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗴 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗷𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗲, 𝗚𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗴.

At RBC, we’ve always believed that there’s more to suspension than simply replacing seals, changing oil or following a service manual. It’s the 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 - understanding what’s happening inside the suspension, why it’s happening, and how those small details can make a big difference to the rider — that truly matter.

Robbie’s passion for suspension goes hand in hand with his passion for 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀. Sharing years of experience, practical knowledge and those little tricks that come from working on thousands of suspension systems is one of the ways we can help raise the standard of suspension service across South Africa.

Because when technicians understand 𝘄𝗵𝘆 they’re doing something, rather than simply 𝗵𝗼𝘄 to do it, everyone benefits - especially the rider. 🚵‍♂️

🧡 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗥𝗕𝗖! 🧡

What a fantastic way to celebrate 𝟭𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗕𝗖!

A huge thank you to everyone who took us up on the offer this past Saturday and brought their bikes along for a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝘁-𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗕𝗖 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘄. 🚵‍♂️🔧

It was brilliant to see so many riders taking the time to understand their suspension, make some adjustments and then head out for a test ride.

But the best part?

𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸! 😁

There were some seriously big grins as riders returned from their test rides, telling us how different the bike felt and how much better it was riding with their suspension properly set up for them.

That's exactly why we do what we do.

Suspension isn't just about pressures, clicks and measurements. It's about 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 - 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, supported the day and helped us celebrate this milestone.

And to the RBC crew who gave up their Saturday to make it happen - 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂! 👏
