The scenic route through orchards and sunshine made it an enjoyable experience. Well done ladies!

Team HEAT strikes again! Bernice participated in the Madibaz 21.1km on Saturday. The weather might have been gloomy, but the stunning sunrise and rainbow made up for it. With headwinds, Bernice still managed to finish in the top 25 overall females and 2nd in her age category. Proud of you, Bernice!

Massive achievement for Mondray Barnard, who took home bronze in the thrilling 110m Hurdles! We couldnā€™t be prouder of this talented athlete, who shows remarkable discipline and sportsmanship. As a full-time student and elite athlete, Mondray is an inspiration to local athletes everywhere.

Team HEAT's triumphant day at the Knysna Forrest Run

Bernice and Joy participated in the 21.1km.
Their adventure began with a 5am taxi ride, followed by a chilly wait in the forest, where they enjoyed freshly baked banana bread (thanks, Foodlovers!). The 8am start saw 6800 runners take off through the plantations, up Simola Hill, and all the way down again to the waterfront.

This event is becoming a yearly staple for the team, with both ladies achieving significant improvements on their previous route times. Congratulations!

NMB 21km run

The NMB 21km run was a huge success on Saturday morning at the beachfront, with a record number of participants.

Congratulations to Joy for achieving a new personal best in the 5km run.

Bernice finished the 21km run in an impressive 1:49. Well done šŸ‘
