Well done, Winsor!!!!
Karate South Africa (KSA) team selection has just been made, and we are happy to announce that Winsor Solomon has been selected to represent South Africa at the World Karate Federation’s (WKF) Youth League in Fujairah, Dubai, in February 2026.
2025 has been a very good year for Winsor, having won gold at the Region South UFAK Championship, making him an African Champion in the Southern Region of Africa (among other achievements) and being awarded his Protea Colours in June at Karate South Africa’s Annual Awards.
Additionally, KSA’s rankings were also just updated, and Winsor is currently ranked no 1 in his division: Cadet Boys Kumite 14/15 years in South Africa.
This comes after hard work, resilience and having started karate at the tender age of 4. Winsor has achieved many accolades in Karate before; however, this is by far his biggest achievement in Karate.
We are immensely proud of Winsor and wish him all the best in his preparation for the WKF Youth League Championship!
