So, so stoked to have won the Vic Bay Quad in memory of John Pfaff and to be part of the winning Eden Surfriders team. The conditions were seriously tough, but this event reminded me of something important – how much I genuinely love competing. The camaraderie, the high fives, the thrills, the disappointments, the friendships, and everything that comes with putting on a jersey and sharing the experience with your teammates. Years ago I often competed in survival mode, chasing results and trying to make a living from the sport. These days it’s different. It’s driven by love, passion, and a deep appreciation for every moment I get to spend in the ocean. It’s given me a newfound love for surfing and competing. Most importantly, I’m incredibly grateful to my amazing wife for her unwavering love and support, and to my beautiful kids who always back me no matter what. Thank you, family. None of this means nearly as much without you in my corner. ❤️🏄‍♂️🏆

Swell of the decade 🌊

I’ve dreamed about this wave for years, but it only breaks like this a few times a decade.

The lefts were shutting down, showing just how much energy was in the swell. Wipe out and you’d get dragged straight into the impact zone.

My biggest mental block was pulling in. I finally committed, got the barrel, and that gave me the confidence to paddle into one of the biggest waves of the swell.

Then I proceeded to eat s**t 😂

No regrets. Progress starts where fear ends. 🤙🏼🔥

Newquay, Cornwall, you beauty! 🌊☀️

You completely showed off this past week, delivering incredible weather and epic waves for our Block 3 High Performance Training Camp.

Great waves, great people, and great vibes. A huge week of progression, hard work, and plenty of smiles in the water.

A massive thank you to everyone involved for making it such a special week.

Watch this space… Block 4 is already brewing and it’s shaping up to be another exciting one. 👀🔥

Thanks, Newquay—we’ll be back! 🤙

ALMOST! This was seriously the swell of the decade. A handful of spots lit up, and this little corner reef that rarely works absolutely turned on. It was world-class, Hawaiian-like — some seriously psycho waves were had… and plenty not even ridden. Only a handful of guys got to experience it, and even fewer gave it a really solid crack. and and in my opinion were stand outs !

September 2018, Green Bush.
8 years down the line and the love for surfing hasn’t faded — if anything, it’s grown stronger. Still pushing myself, still learning, still chasing that feeling every time I paddle out… and loving sharing the stoke along the way. 🌊🤙

That stage of the trip where I really start to miss home…

It’s not always easy being away. It’s rough sometimes. But it’s worth everything. I do it for my wife and kids, for my people, for the life waiting back home.

So fkn grateful for my wife — her love and support carry me through all of this.

See you soon, bokkie ❤️

Ireland has been special 🇮🇪

A full range of conditions — 1–2ft beach breaks through to solid 6ft+ lefts — creating the perfect environment to learn, adapt, and perform.

The real highlight has been the individual progression.
Each surfer finding their own rhythm and improving in their own way.

Big thanks to the parents for trusting the process and supporting the journey.

Limited spots still available

Week 1 done and dusted here in Ireland 🇮🇪🌊

What an incredible 4 days. The waves were absolutely pumping, and the variety of conditions gave us the perfect platform to work across all areas of the kids’ surfing.

We focused on testing their capabilities, pushing comfort zones, and building confidence in different scenarios — exactly where real progression happens.

Good waves, great energy, and some amazing improvements from everyone who took part across both training camps.

Proud of this crew 🤙🔥
