Despite the challenges we faced within the district, Mopani district volleyball team managed to participate in the previous INTER DISTRICT TOURNAMENT(IDT) held on Saturday,14 June 2025 at Ngoako Ramahlodi Sports complex, Seshego.

Mopani District under their New leadership surprised many by fielding competitive teams in all categories, despite the limited preparation,Our team effort, fighting spirit,determination reflects the hidden talent within the boarders of the District.

Mopani District through Discipline,dedication and Unity rewarded them Silverware🥈 in both Junior nd Senior females teams,while their Senior Males walked away with Bronze medals.It was not surprising seeing one of our junior female walking away with individual trophy(BEST DEFENDER OF THE TOURNAMENT).Four of our junior females were pre-selected to participate in the junior IPT(Inter Provincial Tournament) scheduled 09 July 2025 at Mpumalanga Province.

Mopani District volleyball Chairperson MAKGAKGA CHUENE applauded all the players and Team managers who shown patriotism for their District, "This shows that as a District we heading to the Right Direction,I'm hopeful that next time we'll bring the tournament home, and Once again All thanks to LIMPOPO VOLLEYBALL ASSOCIATION for such thrilling tournaments nd a Special thanks for Capricorn district for their Hospitality" said Chairperson.
