2 oceans are the WCSAA 2025/2026 interclub champions 🏆.

It all came down to the last interclub at struisbaai, with poor conditions it did not make it easy and False bay angling club brought the challenge to us with a superb day and beating us on the day. However with the 400 point lead, the members of 2 oceans scratched hard and in the end, we took the win for the season by only 133 points.

The members of 2 oceans fished extremely hard all season and it showed from a club result and an individual result as there are 6 members of 2 oceans in the top 10, and 3 members winning their categories, that being u/16, u/21, and Grandmasters.

Big congratulations to all the members of 2 oceans for fishing hard all season and a big thanks to the families of the members for all the sacrifices that were made.
MIB is back on top 🥇.

This past week, our Captain Mike Bailey and Vice-captain Robin Cochius took part in the Gus kollner internationals and they did not just do well, they excelled.

Our Captain Mike represented the South Africa Grandmasters team which got Gold. He won the award for the most amount of fish caught in the Grandmasters, won Gold in the Grand masters category and came 2nd in the overall internationals.

Our Vice-Captain Robin represented the South Africa Masters team which also got Gold. He won Gold in the Masters category and came 5th overall in the internationals.

Both of them did exceptionally well, both winning their categories , coming in the top 5 overall and both bringing Gold home for South Africa, well done to both of them. They made 2 Oceans extremely proud and showed everyone what the club is capable of.
