2015 All African Mauritian Friendship Cup has arrived. We are planning a very exciting tour to Mauritius and this is what it will all entail:
This year will be the first time we will run the All African Mauritian Friendship Cup and hope to set tradition from here on forward that will be different from any other competition held between countries. So far C
ongo, Zambia, Kenia, Namibia, Swaziland, Reunion, Zimbabwe, Botswana and of course South Africa has shown keen interest to go on this fantastic opportunity of a life time. We are planning based on travel agency and Confirmation from Mauritius to have the competition on either of the following dates:
The Dates:
Depart : 1 September 2015
Return: 10 September 2015 (you will be home so you can go work your own horses the afternoon or go back to work
It is whole week which we will spend at the Ultra-Modern 3-5 star PLUS HOTEL in Mauritius. The packages that we have been arranging is a discounted package including flights and taxes. The trip will include:
Ø Gala Evenings (separate with special dinner and musical performances);
Ø All Food and Alcohol Provided;
Ø All Transport (incl. the club events);

The riders who will be competing in the All African Mauritian Friendship Challenge riding for three days, will receive: Ø Their clothing (jacket, shirt & Cap) the Jacket is an optional extra for non-riders. Another optional is a Carry Bag branded with your name and the Challenge details.
Ø Horses will be provided by centre Equestre de la Louisa (with tack) to the riders
Ø The competitors will receive all their meals at the club inclusive
Ø The event will consist of the following:
o Trail of the horses
o A welcome class
o A speed class or accumulator
o The final event will be a team event where riders will be paired into teams of two. Refreshments outside dinner will be for the competitor and on competitors own account. Entertainment & Dinners at the club is included in the packages. One thing that cannot be missed is the Mauritian Olympic Games at the club which will be following the Prize Giving, Disco & Dances held at the club is free of charge. For the not faint of hearted, there will be night club evenings where transport to the clubs will be provided, and we will be escorted by the biggest Equestrian clubber in Mauritius (many Mauritian riders will join us and these will be chaperoned evenings for the safety of all international competitors). Quiet day at the hotel and sight seeing can be arranged in the area around the hotel. Wednesday 2 September
Morning Trial of horse on the flat
Welcome Cocktail & Draw
Social with Mauritian Riders and Owners
Thursday 3 September
Trip to Port Louis business Center for some shopping
Afternoon trial of horse jumping
Friday 4 September
Morning Excusion to Rum Factory which will lead straight onto Individual Class which will probably be in the afternoon Cold buffet at club
Saturday 5 September
Team event (teams of two)
Mauritian night – THIS IS NOT TO BE MISSED. LOADS LOADS LOADS OF FUN
Sunday 6 September
Day at race or on the beach or Catamerang day. WILL CONFIRM
Monday 7 September
Ile aux Cerf on Pirat Boat Which includes Paragliding for those interested Night event at one
Tuesday 8 September
Swim with the Dolphins in black river
Night Gala Dinner for tour attendees on the beach
Wednesday 9 Septembrer
Day off Last Day of Shopping in and around Grand Gaube and Grand Baie. Thursday 10 September
Departure back to South Africa
All lunch and dinners at the club when competing will be free of charge for the rider and chef d’equipe. What we need from you now:
