Dear Athletes

It is unfortunate that we must announce that we will not be having our planned event in November this year. We were hoping to move our yearly race from January to the last quarter and we wanted to implement this in 2019. Unfortunately, this is not possible. We had a very late cancellation from the event organiser and together with our sponsor we have decided to keep to one selection race per year. As the 2019 event has already been hosted in January, the 2020 race will now be moving from January to October/November 2020.
We are however working on additional events for our region in 2020. We would like to host an on-road duathlon and an Exterra and work on these, has started.
We are still going to send our team to SA champs next year. Both for the triathlon and the duathlon. Selection for the 2020 SA Champs will have to be done by submitting a recent race result to Ehlanzeni triathlon. Information regarding this process will be sent in due course.
So, for all the new athletes, keep on training, keep on racing, and keep us updated.
Further news and information will be posted as we finalize agreements.

What a successful day today at Durban 70.3 IRONMAN South Africa for 38 Nelspruit triathletes - with many PB, top 10 age group finishers!!!

A specific mention to Natia Gous on her 1st place in Hawaii and qualifying for KONA.

This is our third year we have entered a team to Nationals. We are very happy with the results. The times for the juniors was very good so competition was tough. A number of athletes competed for the first time and also the first sea swim for some.
