How did Alex lose 18kgs??🤯⬇️ in 9 months👀no unrealistic expectations here.

✅️From 97kgs >> 79kgs, Alex needed structure, in both training and nutrition. He was in the gym daily but had no solid plan in place.

So how Nev?🤔 Well, it's simple. We set out a nutrition plan, with variety, he had his calories set, and I guided him on how to be flexible, he opted for strict meals. Why??? Because it suited him best. And we went with it.

His training was to the point, no fancy shmancy things. Simple and intense with structure.✅️

And he executed day in day out. Kept me in the loop when he was struggling, and understood that i was no babysitter😂👀

I'm really proud of how far he's come. Maintaining this shape while enjoying pies and things is mos lekker 👀🤝😂

Before nevan I was struggling greatly with diet. Had no knowledge on food or portion control. I tried cutting but nothing came from it because I had no clue what to eat and never bothered counting my calories, I would just assume I reached my intakes for the day. I had no control over my nightly cravings and would just binge eat. I came to the point where I had enough of not achieving what I wanted to achieve. My training was really good but my diet was terrible. Nevan helped me learn to control my cravings, taught me all about portion control. Provided me with all the knowledge needed for me to lose weight. Was given a specific meal plan set out for me as well as a super amazing exercise programme designed for me that helped me pick up more muscle while being on a caloric deficit and maintained my strength as well. Diet was my main issue. after nevans help, it’s a thing of the past. His set me up for life. Started off not being able to control my love for food and ended with being able to control my love for food. My body is at the point where I can eat anything and everything in moderation without gaining anything.

Yebo, when it comes to your diet and weightloss - your portions matter. Don't eat a boring diet to lose weight... yes they work but your mind and eyes won't enjoy it.👀😵‍💫

So, incorporate foods you like, but LEARN discipline and have smaller portions.😊

Most people dread leg days... I embrace it😜I was molded by it😎.

**Myth busted**
Your knees don't have to be inline with your toes- I believed this for a while until I just tried to go as deep as I could with my squats. For those that don't know.."ass to grass" or deep squats is the best way to get the most out of your squats. Its the only way to get full Range of motion, but, you can't get the full range of motion when you're focused on keeping your toes inline with your knees. It limits your overall movement and although it does take strain away from your knees, it does add that strain to your lower back(more dangerous, trust me). The strain your knees get when they go past your toes is well within the limits they can handle. Go look at an Olympic lifter squating and see if they stay inline with their toes😉. Don't sell yourself short just because most people recommend something... everyones body moves differently. Experiment and find your sweet spots💪.
