5 Star Dancers

5 Star Dancers We are a hip-hop dance crew based in Knysna. Our goal is to help and protect underprivileged kids by bringing street dance to the local areas in Knysna.

We teach kids to dance, and protect away from drugs, violence, and domestic abuse.

CONGRATS JESSICA
Well done to Jessica Turpin, Grade 6 pupil and dance student from Uné's Dance Studio Knysna, who took part in the South African Championships of the Performing Arts in Rustenburg during the September holidays.

Jessica joined the Western Cape team and entered 8 dances: 6 x Solos and 2 x Group dances, in the Contemporary, Jazz, Open, Freestyle, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Ethnic sections. Jessica even choreographed one of her solo pieces herself.

Jessica was been chosen to represent the South African Team to compete at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles California in 2024.

Congratulations Jess!

VIVACE
Oakhill will be showcasing what a lot of talent we've got in the Vivace concert next week. Come and celebrate Oakhill Prep's Arts on Wednesday, 8 November and Thursday, 9 November.
