SNAKE BITE PROTOCOL ⚠️

I HAVE BEEN BITTEN! NOW WHAT?

1. The first thing to do is stay calm! The faster your heart beats, the more the venom could spread.
2. Record the exact time of the bite.
3. With a pen, mark around the bite site.
4. If possible, elevate the bite area above the heart.
5. Mark the progress of any swelling.
6. Try to get a photo of the snake, or make a note on its markings, size, and color.

VERY IMPORTANT!!:

1. Do NOT try to catch or kill the snake!
2. Do NOT try to cut or suck or squeeze the venom out!

The Blyde River Canyon is a 26 km long[1] canyon located in Mpumalanga, South Africa. It is one of the larger canyons on Earth but much smaller than those of Asia, the Grand Canyon and the Fish River Canyon.[1][2] Unlike the Grand and Fish River Canyon, the Blyde River Canyon is a "green canyon" which is dominated by subtropical vegetation. The canyon forms part of the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve.
