Beresh*th’s motto is “A NEW BEGINNING”

We believe everybody deserves a new beginning after the trauma that life may have dealt them. A new beginning can be a very daunting task for a person fresh out of a 6 week rehabilitation program. At Beresh*th we have developed a program that can be implemented as part of the recovery process to complete the the 12 step program as well as to get the recovery up skilled in his/her field of strength.

RECOVERY IS NOT FOR SISSIES!

This last week we were privileged to hear the powerful testimony of Keshnie from Beresh*th KZN. As a former drug addict, she shared her journey of brokenness, restoration, and victory through Jesus Christ with the men in our halfway house recovery program, she spent a few dats at our women's facility in Eersterust and poured out of herself into others.

Her story is a beautiful reminder that recovery is possible when we place our trust in the Lord, walk in obedience to His Word, and become completely dependent on Him. Through many challenges and trials, God has remained faithful, transforming her life into a testimony of hope and redemption.

This is a reminder to those entering the journey that recovery requires courage, commitment, and perseverance. It is not for the faint-hearted. But with God, all things are possible.

"Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." – Ephesians 6:10

Thank you, Keshnie, for encouraging our people to remain steadfast and to trust God for their complete restoration.

💙 BERESH*TH WEEKLY SUPPORT GROUP UPDATE 💙

Another week, another opportunity to witness lives being transformed.

This week, men and women gathered across our support groups to share their journeys, encourage one another, and strengthen their commitment to recovery.

Every testimony shared is a reminder that change is possible. Every word of encouragement is a seed of hope. Every person who walks through our doors is proof that no one has to face life's challenges alone.

Support groups are more than meetings—they are places of healing, accountability, restoration, and belonging.

We are grateful to every facilitator, volunteer, family member, and participant who continues to make these gatherings a source of strength and hope.

Together, we are building lives, restoring families, and strengthening communities.

💬 "Recovery thrives where hope, honesty, and support meet."

🌱 BERESH*TH POMEROY FARM – A PLACE OF RESTORATION, PURPOSE AND HOPE 🌱

Nestled in the peaceful countryside of Pomeroy, KwaZulu-Natal, Beresh*th Pomeroy Farm is home to 30 adult men who are journeying through recovery and restoration.

More than just a farm, this is a place where lives are being rebuilt. Every day, the men participate in meaningful work that forms part of our holistic recovery programme. They maintain the grounds, keep the living spaces clean and orderly, tend to our crops, care for our laying chickens, and contribute to ongoing projects that are transforming the farm into an environment that promotes healing, dignity, and personal growth.

Our farm is producing potatoes, ginger, spinach, beetroot, peas, and tomatoes, while our chickens provide fresh eggs daily. These resources play an important role in helping us provide food security for our recovery centres in both KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng during uncertain economic times.

At the heart of Beresh*th Pomeroy Farm is a Christ-centred recovery programme. We follow the 12 Steps founded upon the Word of God, coupled with daily prayer, intercession, discipleship, fellowship, and Sunday worship services. Here, men are not only recovering from addiction and destructive lifestyles but are discovering their God-given purpose and identity.

Beresh*th Pomeroy Farm is truly a piece of heaven on earth—a place where broken lives encounter God's grace, where hope is planted and nurtured, and where restoration takes root.

Like Jacob of old who encountered God and declared, "Surely the Lord is in this place," we too can say that Beresh*th Pomeroy Farm is our Bethel—our place of divine encounter, transformation, and blessing.

"And they shall build houses and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit." — Isaiah 65:21
