THE WORLD CARP CLASSIC 2026 IS COMING…

And this year, we’ll be watching very closely.

The World Carp Classic heads to Lake Orellana, Spain from 19–24 October, with up to 210 teams taking on one of Europe’s most famous carp waters. (World Carp Classic)

Over the last five WCCs, the winning trio has produced:

🏆 2021 – Germany: 78.4 kg
🏆 2022 – England: 62.3 kg
🏆 2023 – Czech Republic: 73.6 kg
🏆 2024 – Czech Republic: 69.5 kg
🏆 2025 – Netherlands: 65.3 kg

Those totals are based on the three biggest carp caught by each team. (World Carp Classic)

And the big fish?

🎣 30.4 kg – 2021
🎣 25.9 kg – 2022
🎣 28.2 kg – 2023
🎣 30.3 kg – 2024
🎣 30.0 kg – 2025

The current WCC event record stands at 30.4 kg. (World Carp Classic)

But now everything changes.

A new lake. A new country. A huge field of international teams. And nobody knows exactly what Orellana is going to produce.

It is in our blood - A short read about African Wild Carp!

You know the angler.

He doesn’t just go carp fishing.

He travels for it.

He crosses borders. Drives for hours. Leaves everything familiar behind because somewhere out there is a lake holding the fish he’s been dreaming about.

He doesn’t need a luxury hotel.

Give him a tent beside the water.

A bedchair under the stars.

A few rods lined up and the possibility of something special swimming away in the darkness.

He understands that the best part of carp fishing isn’t always the fish.

It’s the journey.

The dirt roads.

The remote waters.

The wildlife moving through camp.

The fire at night.

The silence before sunrise.

The first coffee of the morning while watching the water.

And then, suddenly, a screaming alarm.

A slow run.

A tightening line.

And everything changes.

He knows that feeling.

He knows why people travel thousands of kilometres for one bite.

Because in wild African waters, you never quite know what is going to happen next.

With so many enquiries, here is a recap on what we do:

What we offer:
We give European & UK Carp fanatics the oppertunity to fish private, wild African waters. We have safe, but still wild lakes to catch monster Carp!

Our 7 or 10 night packages are fully inclusive:
1. Airport transfers to and from OR Tambo Int airport, Johannesburg,
2. 3 meals per day & soft drinks/bottled water.
3. Fully equiped camp site. Including Private tent, Bedchair, sleepingbag etc.
4. All gear and end tackle, including Inflatable boats with petrol and trolling motors .
5. Guide + Runner
6. All fishing licenses & permits.
7. All baits (ground feed, particles, boilies)
8. Anglers can choose from 4 wild African Lakes.
9. Access to private fishing grounds.
10. “Thank you” gift box with some local goodies.

You know the guy.
