CHARITY DAY!!!! 🇿🇦 How many bowlers can we get onto the green for Heritage Day? And for a good cause!

Join us for BOWLS. BRAAI. UBUNTU. this Heritage Day as we celebrate coming together in support of FORA (Friends of Rescued Animals), a Krugersdorp-based charity caring for 350 dogs and 150 cats, with NO government support.

This worthy organisation survives solely through donations, goodwill and volunteers. 🐾

🎯 BOWLS: entry is a bag of dog / cat food, which will be donated to FORA SA. You don't have to bowl, if you just want to enjoy a lekker day out bring your donation, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy our club facilities.

🔥 BRAAI: It's a Bring & Braai - bring your meat, sides and whatever else you fancy and let's make a day of it. Or, if you'd rather leave the cooking to someone else, you can order something delicious from Bev's Burgers.

🤝 UBUNTU: Bring your family, friends and fellow bowlers. Experienced players, newcomers and spectators are all welcome.

New week. Fresh start.

In bowls, you don't worry about the shot you should have played. You look at where the jack is, read the green, choose your line… and deliver the next bowl.

Life's not much different.

You can't change last week.
You can't control every bounce.

And sometimes, despite your best effort, the bowl just doesn't finish where you wanted it to.

This Monday, put last week behind you. Reset, refocus and play your next shot.
