The mission of CG’s Cricket School of Excellence is to provide boys and girls, aged between 3 and 12, who are passionate about cricket, the opportunity to learn about the game, develop and excel in their skills, in a fun and professional environment. Coaching overview
All fundamental aspects of fielding, batting and bowling will be taught, appropriate to the various age groups, and will in
clude fun drills and matches. What makes us unique? As ex-cricketers we understand the frustrations that come with the drills of practice , as qualified coaches we know how to bring out the best in your child and assess opportunities for continuous development. Gabriel Zhuwankinyu and Calvin Muchada are professional coaches with phenomenal experience in nurturing cricket talent of all ages, any of whom have made it into top national and provincial teams or are now well-known umpires, scorers and coaches. With coaching certificates from the Zimbabwe Cricket Union under their belt, potential cricketers will benefit from their strong technical knowledge of all aspects of the game. In addition excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills will ensure that both kids and parents are in excellent hands. Additional cricket activities
Over and above weekly coaching, matches are organised against school or club teams and clinics are run during the holidays. We are available for children’s parties which can include a combination of cricket and soccer, and have experience with corporate team builders and End of Year functions.
