Randpark, you brought the sparkle.

From the first steps onto the course to the Valdo tasting stops along the way, the ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐๐จ ๐๐ฎ๐›๐›๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐‘๐ฎ๐ง gave us an evening filled with laughs, good company and plenty of bubbles.

The bubbly is chilling. Tomorrow, we run, walk and sip.

The ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐๐จ ๐๐ฎ๐›๐›๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐‘๐ฎ๐ง takes over Randpark Golf Club tomorrow, 10 September, for 5 km of fresh air, good company and plenty of sparkle.

Same start. Same incredible Garden Route. Two very different journeys to the finish.

On ๐Ÿ• ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ, athletes taking on the Knysna Extreme and Extreme 0.5 will both swim, cycle and run through some of the Garden Route's most spectacular landscapes, but the courses they face are very different.

๐Š๐๐˜๐’๐๐€ ๐„๐—๐“๐‘๐„๐Œ๐„ ๐ŸŽ.๐Ÿ“
๐ŸŠ ๐Ÿ.๐Ÿ“ ๐ค๐ฆ ๐’๐ฐ๐ข๐ฆ - It begins in the Knysna Estuary, heading towards the Knysna Heads and Leisure Isle before returning to the SANParks slipway.
๐Ÿšด ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐ค๐ฆ ๐‚๐ฒ๐œ๐ฅ๐ž - Ride from Knysna through Sedgefield to Wilderness, where the 0.5 course splits from the full Extreme. Riders continue through Wilderness, cross the old train bridge and pass through SANParks Ebb-and-Flow before turning back towards Knysna and Transition on Thesen Island.
๐Ÿƒ ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ ๐ค๐ฆ ๐‘๐ฎ๐ง - Then comes the toughest leg. A steep climb towards Simola leads athletes into the Knysna Forest and along narrow, winding gravel roads before the final push to Diepwalle Forest Station.

๐ŸŠ ๐Ÿ“ ๐ค๐ฆ ๐’๐ฐ๐ข๐ฆ - Double the distance in the Knysna Estuary, with athletes navigating the currents before exiting at the SANParks slipway.
๐Ÿšด ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ” ๐ค๐ฆ ๐‚๐ฒ๐œ๐ฅ๐ž - The full Extreme heads east along the Garden Route coastline through Plettenberg Bay towards Nature's Valley, before returning through Knysna and continuing towards Buffels Bay and Sedgefield. It's a huge coastal ride with the climbing to match.
๐Ÿƒ ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ ๐ค๐ฆ ๐‘๐ฎ๐ง - The first 20 km follows the same route as the 0.5 before the Extreme athletes continue deeper into the forests and plantations. Eventually they join the legendary Prince Alfred's Pass, descending through indigenous forest towards their own finish at Diepwalle Forest Station.

Two courses. Two enormous challenges. One unforgettable finish deep in the Knysna Forest.
