The team would like to officially announce that Coach Sibaniesihle, will be taking a short sabbatical from active touchline duties and bench involvement during matches.
This decision comes following recent incidents that have seen the coach emotionally overwhelmed by his immense passion, relentless competitive spirit and undying love for the beautiful game. A boy of extraordinary intensity and commitment, Coach Sibaniesihle has always worn his heart on his sleeve, fighting for the team, the players and the ambitions of this institution with unmatched fire and conviction.
However, true leadership also requires accountability, reflection and growth.
In his own words:
“I'm taking a short break due to some stuff that have taken me out of character. My passion for the game sees me sometimes acting in a way that is not healthy and appropriate. I have so much love for the game but if it's destroying who I am and taking me out of my faith, it is best I take some time off. I will return a better and more responsible coach on the sideline.”
The team fully supports this courageous and mature decision. It takes tremendous strength for a leader to step back, recalibrate and prioritize personal growth, discipline and spiritual well-being above everything else.
Coach Sibaniesihle remains an enormously valued figure within our institution and will continue to play a role behind the scenes.
This is not a goodbye, but merely a temporary pause in the journey of a coach destined for greater wisdom, composure and excellence.
We ask the football community, supporters and stakeholders to respect the decision and continue offering unwavering support during this period.
