Thanks for the good play yesterday, every game shows progress towards the vision the team has with this under 17.
1st leg against Bakers ended with a 1-0 loss few weeks ago.
2nd leg today we drew 1-1 and lost the game. Then overall loosing by 2-1.

Under 17 Top8 squad to Hoopstad top8 on the 24th June 2023 where we lost 1-0 in the good final. Atleast we got second position price.

Under 17 top8 final against ABC of Bultfontein held in Hoopstad on the 24th June 2023. The team lost 1-0 on a very good lesson loose.

At this age group demonstration is very important for tactical approach. Once Komphela once said that he always shout on the sideline at Free state stars because his players need reminder all the time. This is not different at the development especially at having tactical discipline on the approach and reaction as game changes.
There are 4 corners the coach have to keep in mind.
1. Techniques which are skill and ability in dribbling, scoring, heading etc. This is important and improves with time.
2. Tactical which is the approach and a way a coach applies to the game. Players gives coach options as they are differ and coach knows who can win him the game when applying certain tactic in a game.
3. Psychology is the use of the mind and coach knows very well who to trust who will be able to remain focused irrespective of challenge in the game. The coach shout on the sideline to help players remain focused.
4. Physique which the coach develop at training by ensuring players gradually develop fitness for game. Once a player is fit for the game will be able to contribute significantly to his psychological state in the game.

I'm very proud of the progress of the under 17 and we see the gradual improvement.

Officially relegated.
Back to the drawing board but believe in years to come will play SAFA regional league again with better approach and maybe better equipped financially to tackle challenges we had.

Our aims and expectations is to have all our junior teams to play SAFA junior league every season. The teams are there u13, u15 and u17.
Unfortunately we parted ways with our u21 because of what was out of our control, challenges within that we could have sorted out should all parties had patience and challenges from outside environment that we didn't have control of.
Now our senior teams will comprise of few experienced and that under 17 players whom few turns 18 and their physique shows they can stand the challenges.

Since formation of Powerline FC in 2010 we had 2 generations of senior team.
1st generation is that group that was under the leadership of Sangweni and Duze. This group has done their work to perfection and always outstanding. They were dedicated and always hungry for football. The likes of Tumi, Ndafi, Tebogo,Thembile, Jaquire, Disco, Fikile, Cada, Kooi, Mayambela, George, Thabo, Shorty, Vuyisile, Siya, Bossy Jali, Madli, Piya, Jr, The major, and others.

2nd generation is the current one that have opportunity to grow better than the 1st generation as they play organised SAFA regional league,, tactically development guaranteed as they will learn. Wish they become committed and hungrier like the first generation which is something that maybe lacking on them. Tshepang and Mere that's where we need your leadership to talk to your players.

3rd generation in 3 years time will be our under 17. Wow wow,, those boys are growing so well. Today they shown that they will keep us in the soccer fields for few years even when we wanted to retire now. The team spoke to them about not being involved in off the field bad behaviors that goes with addiction,, they should only focus on schools and football. I hope and wish they remember my words for their rest of their lives.
FOOTBALL OUR LIVES,, especially when you get such young players able to do wonders with the ball and off the ball runs.
