TOURNAMENT FEEDBACK REPORT

Format: Top 8 Knockout Tournament

1. Introduction

The Mighty Eagles FC Pre-Season Tournament was successfully held on 22 August 2026 in Pearly Beach. The tournament brought together eight football teams and provided an opportunity for players, supporters and the community to enjoy competitive football in a positive environment.

2. Overall Success

The tournament was successful and well received. The planned knockout format was completed, with teams competing through the quarter-finals, semi-finals, third-place playoff and final.

The tournament also provided an opportunity for teams to prepare for their upcoming football season while strengthening relationships between clubs and the local community.

3. Discipline and Sportsmanship

A major positive from the tournament was the high level of discipline displayed by the participating teams.

Only one red card was issued during the entire tournament.

Players generally respected the match officials and opponents.

The tournament was completed without major disciplinary incidents.

Teams competed strongly while maintaining the spirit of fair play.

The fact that there was only one red card throughout the tournament is a positive indication that the disciplinary rules and match officials were effective.

4. Tournament Results
