Pinnaclemultisportcoaching Pinnacle Multisport is geared for the time crunched athlete, mainly focusing on triathlons of all distances as well as running and cycling.

Whether you are looking to do your first full Ironman or long course triathlon, an olympic distance or just wanting to do a sprint distance to see. Alternatively if just getting fit and running a 10k, half marathon or marathon or wish to complete a 100km cycling sportif or participate in cycle races. We will be able to assist you.

Medal Monday for the Coach!!

Happy to get a 3:25hr Cape Town marathon after a not so great training block with only 8 weeks post breaking ribs from a bicycle crash. Tough finish with due to not many long runs, but held it together with mental toughness and experience to keep pushing.

One of the more memorable ones as Cape Town Marathon looks forward to being a world marathon major after this race and hopefully I get a star as it is in candidate status.

Icing on the cake is time is good enough for age for New York Marathon in 2027, but next up Berlin Marathon in September 😁

Some fine tuning on race craft and pacing required to sharpen up in readiness for Ironman 70.3 Durban in June, but all looking good for the upcoming race 🙌

Medal Monday finally 🙌

This is a great result by Chris at Ironman South Africa.

The goal was a sub 11, so close and gutted he did not achieve 😏

By his own admission, was a bit hot at the start of the bike and also at the start of the run, which ultimately paid the price for later in the race.

Whilst the goal narrowly missed, a PB none the less 💪🏅👏

With every endurance race of this nature, there are always lessons to be learned and notes of where improvement can happen. The biggest takeaway was getting caught up in the moment and not quite sticking to race plan and letting the race come to you. Even so, a PB is a PB and a happy athlete 😊

The hard training paid off and a fantastic race had. Congratulations 🥳
