Fascia and The Lymphatic System:
Fascia is considered the heart of the Lymphatic system of the body. Fascia provides the network and pathway of the Lymph vessels relying on muscles and fascial movement (as a pump) to drain away waste and toxins towards the Lymph nodes of the body. It is therefor crucial for Fascia to be movable and flexible to ensure proper Lymphatic drainage. When fascia becomes restricted due to locked patterns and emotional/physical stress, the body can become swollen and feel sluggish.

End of year stress causes the body to go into Fight or Flight mode activating a part of the nervous system you should not be in long term. This can cause shoulder and neck spasms due to increased work load to finish for the year (muscle tension), headaches as well as anxiety and stress.

There are a few different ways to self regulate your nervous system as well as releasing locked patterns in the body in the fascial system caused by the Emotional and Physical stress this time of year.
