Know the Rules: Line of the Ball & Right of Way 🏇💥

Understanding the line of the ball isn’t just about making the right play—it’s about keeping every horse and rider safe on the field.

Here is a quick breakdown of how positioning works around the line:

Red Zone: High risk. Executing a wait, turn, and ride-off here crosses the line dangerously.

Yellow Zone: Caution required. Stick to riding off or riding directly behind to hook on a nearside shot.

Green Zone: Safe tactical zones for hooking, riding off, or executing a clean nearside shot.

At the end of the day, polo rules exist for a reason: Horse safety first, player safety second, and the game third.
