In February 2018, I received the terrifying news that I had Breast Cancer, however, with the constant love, help and encouragement from my family as well as an awe-inspiring Doctor, Prof Carol Ben, I kicked Cancer’s ass and have been clear ever since my surgery. On the back of this, I decided to start my journey to study health and fitness through HFPA, at the age of 56. After my scare with Breast
Cancer, it seemed a bit dauting to start off with, but made easier by the fact that this has always been a dream of mine to help people reach their health and fitness goals. My primary aim was to reach people that have suffered at the hands of cancer and the aged as sometimes these areas are lacking. My first year of study with HFPA proved to be quite a tricky one as the world was hit with COVID-19 virus and all learning and fitness had to be done online. This however, allowed the Universe to introduce me to a remarkable young lady by the name of Lisa Raleigh. A true inspiration and motivator for me to step even further out of my comfort zone and into the phenomenal world of Rebounding as a “Bounti” Instructor. Gosh how my world has opened up, with teachings of self-discipline, self-belief and gratitude, I feel now that anything is possible. I have always been of the belief that with hard work and dedication the world is your oyster but added to this all the positive reinforcement and encouragement from the Lisa Raleigh Team has inspired me to strive for even bigger dreams and expand our little studio into a little piece of heaven that will cater for all aspects of the Bounti brand and introduce this truly outstanding exercise modality or way of life to as many people as I can. The many benefits of Rebounding are exponential, and I am determined that we are going to succeed in helping many people to be the best version of themselves. Thank you to my darling husband Tony and my beautiful family for making this possible for me to achieve. Thank you to Lisa Raleigh and her team ~ you guys are simply the best ~we are going to soar to great heights together.
