The SA Home Loans Ladies League continues to play a vital role in the development of women’s water polo in KZN.

The opportunity to select a team to participate in the Gauteng Invitational Water Polo Tournament provided players with invaluable exposure to top-level competition.

Experiences like this underline the importance of strengthening and expanding the league—ensuring that the best talent is nurtured and given the platform it deserves.

Following the conclusion of the SAHL Ladies League, a select team was invited to the Gauteng Invitational Water Polo Tournament—featuring four of our own: Amy Aaron, Brogan Reid, Demi Rowe & Layla Dinsdale.

Taking on some of the best teams in SA made for tough competition, but an incredible experience all round. Proud moments! 💙

SA HOME LOANS LADIES LEAGUE FINALS WEEKEND.

Congratulations to DGC on being crowned 1st Division champions after an exciting and hard-fought final against TMC 1.

Well done to all the players who participated throughout the league. It is fantastic to see ladies’ water polo thriving in the province.

A sincere thank you to Brad Rowe for coordinating the referees and table officials, and to Trevor Martin for his ongoing help and support.

Finally, a special word of appreciation to Tracey Armfield and SA Home Loans for their continued commitment to ladies’ water polo in KZN. With eight teams competing this year across both 1st and 2nd divisions, their support plays a vital role in the ongoing growth and development of the game.

Congratulations to Laura Nel (DGC) on being named Forward of the League, and Maddie Beetge (TMC) on being named Goalkeeper of the League.

A fantastic achievement — well deserved recognition for outstanding performances throughout the season.
