Sadga - South African Disabled Golf Association Custodian of disabled golf in South Africa. We aim to encourage South Africans with a disability to play golf.

We do this from the grassroots level through our First Swing Program to the experienced level on our All Abilities Golf Tour.

Yolandi sits in a share of second place in the Stableford standings after the opening round at The Shire London Golf Club, carding 30 points to finish just two points behind the leader.

Competing in her first international tournament, Yolandi has put herself firmly in contention heading into the final round πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦πŸ‘πŸ»

πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦ Yolandi Magatye will represent South Africa this week as she takes on an international field at the 2026 English Disability Open Championship in England.

The championship is hosted by England Golf and will be played over two rounds.

Yolandi tees off for her opening round tomorrow at 08:50 (UK time).

πŸ† Roux Steenkamp and Dehan van der Walt will both return home with trophies from the 2026 One Armed World Championships in Ireland.

Roux claimed the Nett Stroke Play Championship to win the Sir Ian Hamilton Trophy and also advanced to the semi-finals of the Gross Match Play competition.

Dehan won the Bob Hughes Trophy, awarded for the leading Stableford score in Round 2, and reached the semi-finals of the Nett Match Play competition.

πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦ A positive start for Dehan van der Walt and Roux Steenkamp at the World One-Armed Championship in Cork, Ireland.

Roux opened with a gross score of 88 to sit T4 on the Gross leaderboard, while his nett score of 68 sees him lead the Nett division after the first round.

Dehan carded a gross score of 103 and is currently T14 on the Gross leaderboard. His nett score of 76 places him T5 in the Nett division heading into Round 2.

πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦ South Africa will be represented on the international stage this week as Dehan van der Walt and Roux Steenkamp compete in the World One-Armed Championship at Lee Valley Golf Club in Cork, Ireland.

Taking place from 16–18 June, the championship brings together some of the world’s top one-armed golfers for three days of competition 🦾
